We did the same journey to Houston last March. I hope your hotel is better than ours. Bleh!
There is a great park not far from the office. Ask them about it if you need a place to let the kids run around and blow off steam.
We have a lot of ambivalent feelings about our son’s prosthesis and it took a lot of time for all of us to get used to it. The myo is very heavy and it will probably hang at her side at first. It took Riley about a month to build up the strength for it so it didn’t just hang.
Please know that we are hoping the best for you and Jordan.
Good luck.

Me again. With that said, Riley wears his myo every day and has started to use it functionally with weekly OT services. I feel we made the right decision. We were very pleased with the way the company handled everything. They are great people.
Tell Kim we said Hi. Linda too!

I’m sure I’m doing something wrong…but there are no videos.

I am 26 weeks pregnant with a baby girl who will be born with approximately 40% of her left arm below her elbow.

I’m so happy to have found this site (as well as many others) to help me figure out the best for my daughter. We are starting to research whether or not to go the prosthetics route, and any advice would be appreciated.

Hi Nichole – one of my video services was sold to another company and they took some of my videos down. I am slowly trying to bring them all back. I’m happy to offer you insight and support in any way I can! -Jen
